Week 19

This week we will witness the dissolution and then the restoration of David’s kingdom. As you read, think about the consequences of David’s sin with Bathsheba. While God did not abandon him, life got more difficult. Listen to the psalms as the author cries out to God in the middle of life’s difficulties.

Today’s reading is 2 Samuel 13-15.

-Are there areas of your life in which you need to shore up your integrity?

Action:
-Ask God to reveal lapses in your use of words, hidden actions or attitudes, work ethic, and similar matters.
