Is God angry at me when I sin?

By Q&A

Is God angry at me when I sin?

As we go from an enemy of God to one of his children, does his view of our sin change? Before we are believers, it was impossible to please God and if we died lost in our sins, we would be condemned to Hell. However, once we are saved, we are no longer condemned. Remember, God’s condemning anger is completely absorbed by Christ when he died. That doesn’t mean God isn’t displeased when we sin. He is, but it is in a disciplinary sense rather than a condemning sense.

Where is heaven right now?

Heaven: Spiritual or physical? Does Scripture reveal its location? Heaven is a place where God dwells and where the risen Christ sits at God’s right hand. It is outside the created material universe as we know it, meaning it’s not a geographical place we could go to in a spaceship.

Why is Jesus Called “Son of Man”?

Jesus is both divine and human, yet “Son of Man” was his favorite self-designation. Why didn’t he prefer being called “Son of God” instead? Pastor John Piper will explain that “Son of Man” has the double meaning of human being and, according to Daniel 7, exalted heavenly one. And Jesus means to communicate both of those.
